Zines
Folklore Zine
Folklore Zine is an ongoing project developed in partnership with Zero Block society and a small team of harm reductionists and researchers across North America. As a collaborator since 2022, Research with Expert Advisors on Drug Use has featured research from multiple studies to share findings with a wider community of people who use drugs. You can check out all four issues of Folklore Zine using this link.
Opioid Settlement Project Zine
On Oct. 3, 2022, Washington State settled a lawsuit against three companies found to have played key roles in
causing the opioid epidemic, winning $518 million in settlements. To learn what principles and priorities should guide the use of those funds in King County, Public Health-Seattle King County (PHSKC) set out to solicit feedback from community members that are impacted by the opioid epidemic. PHSKC contracted with READU to hold listening sessions with community members and create a set of recommendations based on what we heard. For a summary of our process and findings, check out our Opioid Settlement Project Zine and Stakeholder Feedback Report below.
