READU wins the Mosaic Award at the Academy Health Conference!

This summer READU was invited to present at several conferences, and we kicked off our conference season with the Academy Health conference earlier this June. READU members presented posters on our ORCID and FR-CARA studies and attended the presentation of READU’s Mosaic Award!

The Mosaic Award celebrates research and health programs that excel at engaging communities and meaningfully include a wide range of perspectives in their work.

Principal Investigator Jenna van Draanen gave an acceptance speech on behalf of the team, saying: “It is deeply meaningful to each one of us to receive the Mosaic award, because it values equity, belonging, shared power, and inclusion, and to us those are not simply principles. Those are the foundation for how we work.”

ORCID AIM 1 DATA SHARING MEETINGS

ORCID Aim 1 data sharing meetings

In July 2025, we began hosting data sharing events at our data collection sites to reflect back what we have heard so far from our interview participants, provide updates on the study, hear feedback and answer participant questions.
