Research with Expert Advisors on Drug Use
Since READU’s founding in 2022, we’ve partnered with Public Health Seattle King County, the Council with Expert Advisors on Drug Use (CEADU), VOCAL-WA, and other academic and community partners on community-engaged research.
READU is based on the belief that research and change should be driven and informed by people who use drugs and serve people who use drugs. The harm reduction and organizing principle “Nothing about us without us” is central to our work.
